Royal Wedding

I feel that as yesterday was such a moment in history, I should at least touch on it breifly.

I felt very proud to be british yesterday; it was lovely to see red, white and blue bunting everywhere! I sat and watched the wedding from 10am onwards, fitting in a speedy shower between them getting to the palace and the balcony scene!

I thought Kate (Catherine?) looked absolutely gorgeous in her dress. I was glad she chose Alexander McQueen's successor to create the gown, it was absolutely gorgeous and although I've no plans to wander down the aisle any time soon, I would like one just to wear around the house.
As you can imagine, I was unbelievably excited to see what the cake would look like. I had heard rumours of a three teir simple cake...but goodness knows where that information came from cause there was no simple about the finished product! It was absolutely stunning.
I can imagine everyone at Fiona Cairns is having a well deserved break today, I think what they acheived is just incredible. I bow to you Fiona, you and your team did brilliantly!
