Lady Gaga Cake

It was the birthday of one of my very best friends, so I wanted to make an amazing cake. She's absolutely in love with Lady Gaga, so I decided to make a cake based on the video for 'Telephone'.

I wanted to make a telephone to sit on the top that looked a little like the one Lady Gaga wore for her appearance on Jonathan Ross, and the bottom teir I took ideas from the video itself. I ended up incorporating the American flag and Police tape outfits Lady Gaga wears for the bottom teir. The overall look was a little something like this:

I had to stick all those sparkly bits on by hand, which was a pretty lengthy process...but I really like the effect they created. Lots of them fell off as my friend couldn't resist pretending it was ringing and posing with it for much of the evening!


It was great to see the cake was so well appreciated!
